Contentment

"I have learned the secret of being content in any
and every situation, whether well fed or hungry,
whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything
through Him who gives me strength."
Philippians 4:12-13

Content. That's an interesting word. It is basically a state of heart in which you would be at peace if God gave you nothing more than He already has. It is being able to accept the situation as it is and know that God will give you the strength to get through it.

Contentment is not easy, but in it we will find rest and peace knowing that God is in control.
In the holiday season and in a world that tells you that you'll never have enough, let's try to trust in God and find joy that He is here, Emanuel "God With Us."

Nov. Schedule is up!

Hey Team!
Thank you all for your level of commitment to our Family Life Ministries! Our church is exploding and I can't tell you how many people have said they keep coming back because their kids drag them out of bed to come and play & learn at church. You are making a difference in their lives as families.

Continue to send me your availability so we can create a smooth schedule for everyone!

If you're not on the schedule then you will be on the Dec. schedule or my first to call if someone has to call in.

This month -Nov- we are showcasing the early childhood classes and our offering is going towards the classes. This is a great moment to spread the word on becoming a volunteer! Have your friends from church fill out a connect card for more info!

Thanks for all you do! You guys are the best team ever and I'm blessed to be surrounded by you!

Hope

Hey Guys & Gals!
I came across a great devotional that inspired me and I wanted to share.

But as for me, I will always have hope;
I will praise you more and more.
My mouth will tell of your righteousness,
of your salvation all day long,
though I know not it's measure.
Psalm 7:14 - 15 NIV

Hope. A simple word. A powerful truth. A miraculous healing medicine. That is what hope means to me. The actual definition for hope is: Something good that you want to happen in the future, or a confident feeling about what will happen in the future.

Living each day with hope can change your entire outlook. I can't imagine life without hope. What an impact it would be in your life and the people around us if we lived with the firm, strong, grounded hope that comes from knowing God's goodness and salvation for us. That He hopes we will live life to it's fullest.
I know we as a team have plenty of "Hopes" for the soon coming two services. And just like the writer of this Psalm I will continue to hope in the good things, to praise God for his blessings on our church, the opportunity to tell others twice in one day of the hope of His righteousness and salvation!

Leadership Forum with Dr. Rhoden

Hey guys & gals,
I wanted to say a belated thanks to all those who attended the Leadership Forum with Dr. Rhoden. I know we all came away with some great points of being leadersin our daily life & for the Way!

New Schedule

Hello team!
Aren't you loving the online site already?
Well, as you saw in my e-mail earlier, we have officially made the change to serving two weeks in a row and having six weeks off. We are so blessed as a church to have people like you to volunteer your time and serve the young families of The Way!

I'm sure we will all be able to see the benifits of the new change in schedule very soon so please feel free to share some stories here!
